The Restore Hope Program (formerly called In-Home Crisis Intervention) is a joint effort between the Division of Youth Services through The Lexington Fayette Urban County Government, The Department of Juvenile Justice and The Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children and Youth, to provide in-home stabilization services to youth and families who are experiencing difficult circumstances and to prevent a further spiral into the juvenile justice system.
The home based program was developed with the idea that every child experiencing problems or crisis should have access to services in the context of the family, while being in the least restrictive setting. The program is aimed at Fayette County youth up to 18 years of age who are at risk of being placed outside the home without some intervention. An In-Home therapist/case manager will work with the youth and family in supporting individual goals to help the youth remain in their community and in their home.
Referrals must come through The Lexington Fayette Urban County Government, Division of Youth Services or The Department of Juvenile Justice.
